Iodine Supplementation

Author contends that daily supplementation of iodide at levels around 8-14mg/ day are necessary or/and prudent.

 

Proposed benefits: normal thyroid function--serum T4 and TSH levels within normal ranges; reduction of incidence of cancer, especially to the female reproductive system.

 

Evidence: review of errors of literature and prior laboratory research; own clinical findings; supporting data from epidemiological studies (Japanese typical diet)
