Here's the most inexpensive and efficient way to transform sunlit windows into giant solar radiators in your home, RV, boat, camper or office. This passive solar thermal heating fabric works inside your home or office and hangs on clear sunlit widows. It's UV resistant, safe, doesn't small, and very easy to use. The specially designed heat tolerant, untearable black high density plastic material absorbs and traps solar energy against clear glass windows, much like the dashboard does under your car windshield—even on a cloudy day. Radiated temperatures are much hotter than can be acheived from any other solar heated objects in the room. Some sunlight is passed through the cloth so you can still see outdoors.

Once the sun's intense energy passes through window glass and touches the deep black surface of this fabric it's instantly converted into heat energy, then radiated into the room at temperatures slightly less than the average conventional baseboard radiator. The heat is non-toxic and will always be free. Radiant solar room heating is slightly slower but much quieter than forced air heating, and at ¼ the price as our interior forced air heaters, the ease of installation and use, it's quite a bargain for about 225 BTU of free heat per square foot.

A large covered sunlit window such as a glass patio door will produce much more heat than a large conventional baseboard heater, at over 13,000 BTU, o r about 3,100 watts of energy with midday heating. This 6' x 9' standard size of heating fabric will fit an average size sliding glass patio door. It can be easily cut to fit smaller windows with scissors.

The clean heat generated by this fabric is quietly radiated into the room at least twice as hot as the room air temperature at temperatures above 130 degrees F. You can feel the pleasing warmth radiating from the back side of the fabric. Lower levels of heat can be generated on light overcast and partly cloudy days. South facing sunlit windows provide maximum heating.
